View 1 Replies External Speakers Not Showing Up As Connected Device Sep 1, 2015Įxternal speakers were working fine, then update to Win10 now external speakers not even recognized. Tried disconnecting the external monitor and rebooting, but the laptop display still doesn't turn on. I go to Graphic setting and click on multiple displays, but it states it doesn't see another device only the external monitor. Now my laptop monitor won't work - only the external monitor. Cannot get sound on my acer g276hl monitor windows 10#
I was surprised to find that when the monitor is connected (over DisplayPort) sound will not come out of my bluetooth speaker or my Windows 10 powered laptop's main speakers. I got an external monitor today that does not have speakers included. Unpugging the monitor and holding the power button for 30 seconds - Doesn't seem to work.Using Audio While External Monitor Is Connected? When I reinstalled video drivers while troubleshooting, the "No Signal" message was permanent, even when setting the monitor back to 800圆00. The monitor wouldn't turn on during boot.
Cannot get sound on my acer g276hl monitor Pc#
Just before the "No Signal" message, it worked with my PC but would only display 800圆00 within windows. It just seems to be having an issue with computers plugged into it. When I plug an SNES Mini with the same HDMI>DVI cord the monitor works. The PC and Macbook work well with other monitors I tested it with, seems to be just an issue with this particular monitor. I didn't mess with the monitor settings nor the video settings, this simply started happening for some reason. I tried using it on my Macbook and I still get the "No Signal" message. Basically, when the HDMI>DVI plug is plugged into the HDMI in the PC to the DVI input of my monitor, it displays "No Signal" which has never happened before. I've had this Acer G276hl UM.HG6AA.D03 since 2012 and had no issues with it until today.
